RING SIZING
The sizes I've listed with my pieces are the Australian/UK letter sizes and the US numerical size.
Below is a ring size conversion chart that lists the Australian letter sizes, the US numerical sizes and the inside diameter measurements of the sizes...
Any jeweller will be able to find your ring size, or there are some websites that may help like:
Check inside the band of any rings you know that fit you or the person receiving the ring (for example, Pandora rings are stamped with the size inside), or you/they can also measure the internal diameter of a ring.
Measure a couple of times to be sure and go with the largest number you get. If you have measured the internal diameter of a ring correctly you should get somewhere between 1.5cm and 2cm (unless your finger is particularly small or large). Circumference of a finger is much less accurate.
The most common women's sizes are 7 or N 1/2.
A size 9 or R 1/2 is generally a large size and a size 5 or J 1/2 is generally a small size.
When guessing size for a ring its always best to go slightly on the smaller size as I can always stretch rings up a size or two easily and free of charge (other than postage). Its much trickier to make rings smaller, especially if there is a stone.
BANGLE SIZING
Bangle sizes are based on the inner diameter
The inside diameter is the measurement across the space inside the bangle, from the widest part. Again, as with rings, best to measure a few times and go with the biggest number you get!
X SMALL - has an inner diameter of 59mm
SMALL - has an inside diameter of 61mm
SMALL/MEDIUM - has an inside diameter of 62mm
MEDIUM - has an inside diameter of 63
MEDIUM/LARGE- has an inside diameter of 64mm
LARGE - has an inside diameter of 65mm
X LARGE - has an inside diameter of 67mm
